Clean Teeth Can Lead To Healthier Heart

Heart disease is the #1 cause of death in the USA.  New research presented at the American Heart Association’s Scientific Session in November 2011 found that people who have their teeth cleaned by a dentist or hygienist had a 24% lower risk of heart attack and 13% lower risk of stroke.  Professional cleanings appear to reduce inflammation-causing bacterial growth that can lead to heart disease or stroke.

Powell & Dublin Voted Best in Midwest!

A recent report shows what many already know: Central Ohio is home to great communities!  Powell came in at #5 and Dublin at #9 out of 955 Midwestern communities based on a 20 point criteria to evaluate the most favorable living conditions.

On Numbers used a 20-part formula to find Midwestern communities that enjoy healthy economies, light traffic, moderate costs of living, impressive housing stocks and strong educational systems. Business First published the results in December.

2. Go to the 2nd box on the Patient Account Access Page…Register Now
3. Click Sign Up
4. Create your own Username and Password
5. Complete the online form
6. Click submit
7. You will receive email notification activating your account

It’s that easy!  Before your next appointment with DDA we will ask you to update your health history using Patient Account Access. With this new improvement you will have no paperwork to do in our office and your dentist will have accurate health history information for you.

Annual Tree Lighting In Dublin!

Plan To Join the Fun on Thursday, December 1

The City of Dublin is hosting the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1 at 62 W. Bridge Street.

This festive evening will kick off with musical performances from Indian Run Elementary and Riverside Elementary students, and will end when Santa Claus and Dublin City Council light the 40-foot Christmas tree with thousands of glistening lights and ornaments.

Following the ceremony, join friends and neighbors inside Indian Run Elementary to meet Santa Claus and his reindeer, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, and more. Conclude the evening with visiting one of the many signature restaurants in Historic Dublin.

This event is free and open to the public.
